Ok so 2 weeks ago i started i start the Rosemary Conley diet and excercise plan and so far its going ok. The first week wasn’t to great as it was my birthday weekend!! so i did cheat a little on what i ate but i still lost weight be it only 1lb!!
But a pound is a pound and every bit helps right!!! so im near the end of week 2 and class is on tuesdays so we shall see how this week has gone soon enough!!
Im still feeling positive about it all so hopefully there will be a few more pounds off this week!
One of my favorite recipes from Rosemary Conley is Turkey and red pepper burgers! heres the recipe try it let me know what you think.
TURKEY AND RED PEPPER BURGERS.
serves 4
per serving 142 calories, 2.2g fat
450g (1lb) extra lean turkey mince
1 chopped onion, finely chopped
1 garlic clove, crushed
1/2 red pepper, finely chopped
6 basil leaves finely chopped
2 tsps vegetable stock powder
freshly ground black pepper.
(tho in a pinch i have made them without the basil and stock and they were still yummy!)
1) in a large mixing bowl combine the turkey, onion, garlic, red pepper, working the mix with two forks to break up the meat.
2) sprinkle the stock powder over and stir well, making sure the mixture is well combined.
3) add the basil leaves and seasonwith plenty of black pepper. using your hands mix well,and bring the mixture together. form into burger shapes, squeezing the mixture between your hands to form a tight ball and then flatten slightly.
4) cook on a hot BBQ or place under a hot grill for 10 minutes each side.
serve with salad!
i really love this recipe and so do my kids and they can be fussy about what they eat.
